Nail Surgery

Nail surgery offers a permanent solution to treat chronic ingrown toenails and is performed in the comfort of our clinic.

What is Nail Surgery?

Nail Surgery is a common procedure performed to treat recurrent ingrown toenails.

Your Podiatrist will give you a local anaesthetic injection, to numb the area before the surgery. Your Podiatrist will then remove part or all of the ingrowing nail (nail avulsion). Depending on your toenail, your Podiatrist may apply a chemical to the nail root to prevent it from growing back.

Nail Surgery typically takes an hour, and you can go home immediately after the procedure.
