Cathy Weiss
Cathy opened her first practice, ‘New Lambton Podiatry’ in New Lambton in 1989 and now has over 32 years experience behind her.
With a passion for podiatry, Cathy has taken pleasure in seeing generations of families pass through the doors.
Cathy currently works Monday, Thursday and Friday.
Jacob Wood
Jacob grew up in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area, graduating from the University of Newcastle in 2017.
He has worked as a podiatrist in Townsville, Newcastle, Maitland and the Hunter for over 5 years.
Jacob has a broad interest in podiatry, from general foot and diabetic foot care to more complex pain management for patients with sports injuries, disabilities and the prescription of orthotics.
On weekends he enjoys playing golf, going to the gym, watching the NRL and spending time with his dog Eddy.
Taryn Osland
Taryn is a friendly and experienced Pod
Taryn is a friendly and experienced podiatrist.
Since graduating with a Bachelor of Podiatry from the University of Newcastle in 2010, she has been working full-time in private practice. After 12 years living and working in Sydney, Taryn has returned to the Hunter.
Craig Leggett
Craig graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry from the University of Newcastle in 2017, joining New Lambton Podiatry and Merewether Podiatry in October 2024 after working in the Hunter Region for the past seven years.
Clinically, Craig has a passion for injury rehabilitation and preventative care. His expertise focuses on general podiatric care, diabetic assessments and enhancing sporting performance through biomechanical assessments. He has completed further training in dry needling, shockwave therapy, Swift therapy and holds Certificate III and IV qualifications in Personal Training.
Born and bred in Newcastle, Craig enjoys spending time with his wife and young family. He is a member of the Newcastle Triathlon Club and a regular competitor at the Lake Macquarie Parkrun. His interest in podiatry stems from his sporting background, which includes swimming, cycling, long-distance running and competing in Ironman triathlons.
Zac Hook
Zac graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry from the University of Newcastle in 2016. Since graduating, Zac has worked in regional Victoria and metropolitan Sydney for the past eight years.
In addition to general podiatric care, Zac is passionate about rehabilitating acute sports injuries. He has completed training in dry needling, myofascial cupping, shockwave therapy and further studies into soft tissue injuries.
Returning to his hometown of Newcastle, Zac is excited to spend more time with his family. In his spare time, you will find Zac playing cricket, golf and football. After living away from Newcastle, he is most looking forward to watching live sporting events and exploring the local restaurant scene.
